CAMP MISSIONARIES
Each summer we feature a different missionary at Allendale Christian Camp and Retreat Center. Campers hear from these extraordinary people about the work being done through their mission organization to help the hurting and bring the gospel to all corners of the earth. It also gives campers a chance to contribute financially to the work of these missions. Below you can read about the missionaries from past years.
2025 Summer Missionary: Camp Allendale
You read that right—Camp Allendale is the 2025 summer mission!
In this unique season of a new executive director and other changes, our camp program committee has decided that, for this summer only, Camp Allendale will be the focus of our mission efforts. Your camper will hear directly from Max Aper, Camp Allendale’s Executive Director, on these key topics:
-
Checking in with Past Allendale Missionaries
-
What Is Missions? It Starts Here (In Your Heart)!
-
Why Do We Give? Living Generously Like Jesus
-
Camp Allendale’s Mission – You Are a Part of It!
-
The Future of Camp Allendale – Your Role in Allendale’s Story
Rather than raising funds for a single project, the dollars given this summer will be the first contributions toward Allendale’s next Strategic Plan—something your camper will learn about during their session.
While we firmly believe that mission dollars should extend beyond our walls (a vision we remain committed to for the years ahead), this summer, we felt it was fitting for Camp Allendale itself to be the mission.
